In May, when we should have been sailling, we began the project to rout out the checks in the cabin-sides near the windows ('ports').

These cracks in the wood are common and natural for an old wood boat. They contributed to leakd at the windows, so I decided to fix them before we reinstalled the glass panes. Malcolm routed the cracks so we could glue in 'splines'.....
